The Tabligh Jama‘at, founded by Maulana Ilyas inspired in thousands of people a religious zeal, which had been unknown for centuries. The Tabligh people believe in conveying the religious message by means of a personal approach: through conversation, speech, meetings and so on. They undertake journeys to convey their thoughts and ideas directly to the congregation.
